Can a women be a witness or sign as witness on a gift deed?

Dear Sir/madam,

If a muslim women signs on a gift deed of an immovable property made as islamic laws is acceptable in the court ?becuase islam recognise womens witness as only half of that of a man? also i want to know if a father gifts his son his immovable property with absolute rights over it then can this son gifts the same to his mother ?

1. A muslim woman is competent to sign as a witness. 2. The son can transfer the property to his mother.

Thank you madam for your reply to my post. I have another question to ask i.e.if a gift deed of a immovable property (a house) is written on a plain paper in presence of two witnesses & donor is dead then can this be registered after donor's death & can be made a legal valid document as per law  or it is mandatory  to write only on stamp paper & register only during life time of a donor?
