Can a husband get share in wife property

You have clarified that the funds utilized to buy the property were self earned and property is self acquired.

IN such case the owner (wife) can give it away to anyone as it pleases to her e.g. sale deed/gift deed/WILL ,in her life time and anyone can not have any right or lien on it.

If the wife dies without leaving any WILL ( it is believed that this wife is Hindu) then the mother, husband and children being ClassI legal heir shall share it equally.
