Can a 498a accused stand as garuntor for other accused?

hi all, 

wanted to know, can a person, who is charged under 498a, stand as garuntor for bail for other accused of 498a or any other offence which is bailable and needs a garuntor.

the accused can not be a surety in same cases, but he can be a surety in another cases.
