Hi,
my uncle's son is 8 year old and want to participate in delhi chess tournament under 11 . The prerequiste in applying in this tournmanet is that birth certifiate should be ready with in first year of birth. But my uncle got his son's birth cerifitae after three years of his birth. Is there any law where we can legally register into this tournament? Please advice as we have the last date to register. Thanks Gauri

You can file a civil suit against the chess tournament officials if it is private tournament. You can file Writ Petition if it is Government organised body and get the order to participate in the tournament. Since the case make take long time, for the time being you can obtain temporary order to participate.
