Army institute of law Mohali has 80 seats.

64 Seats are reserved for childrens of army personals.

12 Seats are reserved for resident of Panjab.

only 4 seats are available for general citizens.

Is this admition criteria is constitutional and legal?

Yes. I think this is reasonable classification under Art. 14 of Constitution as the institution name itself says it is 'Army' institution.

u r very correct suchitra....AIL is governed by Army Welfare Educationa Society (AWES) so maximum seats (64) are reserved for army but although institute is affiliated to punjabi university, patiala so some seats are also reserved for punjabis (12) and all india category (4) .....i knew this because i am a alumni of Army Institute of law...
