I am a contract employee (on scale) in an autonomous body of Government of India. I wish to apply for another government job, where government employees are asked to forward the application through proper channel and later come with an NoC.
I wanted to know,
1) is application through proper channel valid for Contract employees ?
2) Do contract employees get pay protection and other benefits while switching between govt jobs ?
3) I have heard that rules for government employees do not apply on contract employees. Is it true ?
