We want to know how much stamp duty is payable as per Bombay Stamp Act on a Memorandum of Understanding regarding an amount of Rs. 1,55,00,000/-

Author, Agreement of memorandum of understanding depends on the recitals of the document. if it is general nature the duty is only Rs.100/-. If it is for any development or in such manner the duty shall be leviable at 5%, 4% or 3% for corporations, muncipalities/nagar panchayats and panchayats respectively.
