Can you please by providing a clarification on following :
(i) Whether The maharashtra Rent Control Act will apply to property which is declared as slum and Maharashtra Slum control act is applicable thereto ??
(ii) can a tenant not having his name in eligible slum dweller and occupying illegal house in declared slum can make Landlord liable to give him an accommodation when development is under SRA scheme ???
(iii) Will it be responsibility of landlord or tenant has to prove he is eligibel ?

I THINK TENANT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBEL TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF RENT CONTEOL LAWS AS PROPERTY IS NOW COVERED BY SLUM LAWS ... BUT NEED MORE CLARIFICATIONS FROM YOU FRIENDS ..
