Dear Sirs , I appointed a lawyer is to defend the petition. Now i feel that i need to change the lawyer as he is asking fees which i cant pay. Earlier he did not clarify his fees saying that i shall inform you after cross examination.
Can i change the lawyer now as he has submitted amicus curiae. He has already cross examined the petitioner . What is the process ? can any one please advice me.

Take NOC from existing lawyer and appoint new lawyer.
amicus curriae can't ask for payment since he is assumed to be friend of court.
Before selecting lawyer plz ask for fee?? Then proceed further.
