Affidavit in court

Dear Experts,

Please advise, if court asks for submitting detailed affidavit of assets and income for deciding maintenance u/s 125 or 24 and the spouse files affidavit of income only (certified copy salary slip, interest etc.) and skips the details of assets ,shares etc.

Can judge take some penal action against the spouse or is required to decide maintenance on the basis of income details submitted by the spouse as this is not the case for deciding division or partition of assets and just to decide maintenance.

One more thing court is required to ask for the affdavit from the spouse who is asking maintenance or not.

Please advise.
