affidavit

we r often required to produce affidavits for non judicial works.such affidavits r written on stamp paper and yet the executive magistrates ask us to affix court fee stamp on it.is it necessary?

Court fees are required in judicial proceedings in the Court, and non judicial stamp papers are required for other purpose outside the court jurisdictional purpose.I am  of the view that your executive officers are confused with court fees and non judicial stamp papers.
