Time limit for dispute

My society has levied charges in my monthly bill for damages not caused by me. Despite my arguments they have lied and made it seem like I made the damages. Now that I have required proofs to support my argument, I want to approach the court. What is the time limit in such disputes.

Thanks - Kedar

Your query for the time limit is not understood. Whether you want to prolong the action at a future date. My understanding of the law is that so long as you are member of the Society is sufficient enough for you to initiate legal action.

The event occured around 5 years ago and at that time I was given to understand that I can file a suit only within few days (30 days or so). After that the Judge would question why I did not come to the court earlier.
