Solvation of property will and the required documentation

A legal will stands for the distribution of a property between my brother and me, which was made by my mother before her death.

My bother and I have agreed to settle it with each others share.

What documentation should I take from him at the settlement of the will which helps to close the will.

Thanks in advance

If the property belonged to mother and she made the will in your favour then you should get that implemented,probate if requiered or just that is done.

BUt if the bother has any share or  entire property was not of your mother then let him execute a registered release deed ;

Dear Neeraj,

You have get probate from court for your will. Thereafter you can transfer the properties to the respective names as per will executed.
