I have purchased one flat in Thane, Maharashtra in Oct 2015. Before completing all formalities I personally meet secretary of the society he verbally agreed for my membership and helping in completing required documentation ASAP.
As per requirements, I have submitted all necessary transfer documents (forms, fees, aggrement copy, etc) in November 2015. Since then I have been asking him for the share certificate duely transferred on my name. But for some unknown reasons he is avoiding.
Is there any provision in law where is its is binding on society to transfer the flat in my name within stipulated time frame ? to whom I can approach for getting this resolved ?
