Section 12 of dv dismissed due to limitation ref crpc 468

As per SC judgement Inderjit_Singh_Grewal_vs_State_Of_Punjab 23 August 2011, Section 12 of DV dismissed due to limitation ( Case filed after delay of more than 1 years) ref Crpc 468. Will this will be applicable in Section 22 of DV also, where Compensation is demanded while delaying in filing the DV act after more than 1 Year of wife living together ?
