Resignation

Can a Public sector undertaking , deny Post retirement medical scheme benefits to an employee who resigns after putting in
31 years of service .

Is it mandatory in any law that you must superannuate from the company to avail the benefits available .

Dear  Pradeep,

What does your servie regulation say on this matter? In many undertakings resignation does not entail many terminal benefit which superannuated person gets.. Can comment after going through your servie regulations.
