My friend was falsely accused of assault when he was junior college (he was 17 years old at that time). He spent in a juvenile home for a week, but was later acquitted by the local court. Now he is 27 and wants to stay on rent. Will it be difficult for him to rent a flat in Mumbai or Pune because of police verification?

Acquittance court order can be shown in police verification. No problem at all.
