Regarding court decree

Dear Respected Lawyers,

My father and my cusion have joint party and they make an agreement with a party Mr. X in Rs. 250000/- in 2008 and Mr. X paid an advance amount of Rs. 41000/- but due to some dispute in property, after our several verbal request Mr. X denied to buy the property,

and in 2015 we handover the said property with Power of Attorney to our relatives because of litigations and dispute on the said land.

But before few days we got an court notice to appear before the court in which it is mentioned that court has granted decree to Mr. X in 2014 and we have to give possesion to Mr. X,

We wish to know how can court provide one sided decree without knowing our views and we did not got any kind of advocate / court notice after our agreement in 2008, and we did not live at the place where Mr. X challenged to sent the notice.

We unable to understand on what ground we can fight because the said property is given to our relative and they already sold some of its part and we merely got Rs. 150000 Lakh only of the said property from our relative. If any help from any of you respected lawyers than I shall be thankful to you forever

Dear querist,

It will better for you to appeal against the ex-party decree rather than wasting time on how court passed the decree.
