I am bengaluru,

we have recently purchased 20x30 site from my motherin law for 10Lakhsand same is registed to my wife name. they have four daughters my wife elder. this property is own purchased in 1983 by my motherin law.

in future is there any chances that other daughters can calim that the property is sold without their signature and can challenge in couurt. what will be conflict.

since it was her self acquired property no daughter can challenge the transaction.

It is believed your Mother in law is Hindu.

Hope while buying you have obtained proper legal opinion and checked all mutation record with link docs.

If the property is self acquired/absoloute then she can sell.
