Police verification for govt. job

1. The police under whose jurisdiction you reside will call you at the police station to interogate your antecedents. You can carry relevant identity proofs.  They may even visit your residence for confirming the address. You may need some of your immediate neighbors to give  to give a statement as for having known you.

2. Normally they will ask for questions as to whether you were convicted before in any criminal case. If not give the answer to their satisfaction.
