It professional grievances

Hi Experts,

Does a Software professional fall into the Labor category? Can we approach a labour court for disputes with employer

Where does Software professional need to approach for their rights and grievances?

Yes, the software company can approach the labor commissioner for labor/industrial disputes.

All Labor Laws..................................and all Laws of the land are applicable to the Software Companies.

Like any other.....................................such companies/employers are also servant to the Law of the land.

>>> Standing Orders are applicable.

 

>>> Software companies are covered by (name of the state) Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, that was enacted to govern the service conditions of employees working in establishments covered by this Act.

 

>>> An ill informed employee is like a sitting duck and prone to exploitation.

 

>>> Employee should become member of Trade Unions, like CITU/INTUC/AITUC/BMS.................................Employee's unions and be properly informed.
