Gift from Brother In Law

 Hello All,

I need your advise as in 2002 I bought a flat and since both me and my husband was not working then, we asked our brother in law( husband's brother) to help us get a home loan beacause of which we had to make my brother n law(husbands brother) a joint owner along with me for this falt. Now my loan is over and I want him to remove his name compleely from the house. How is that possible, I have heard of gift deed will that work, what is cost implications.
