Contempt petition against respondent

In a writ mandamous, high court of mandras has issued a direction to the govt respondent to take appropriate action on the representation originally submitted by the petitioner....THIS DIRECTION HAS NOT PRESCRIBED TIME LIMIT FOR COMPLIANCE THOUGH IT WAS PRAYED FOR SPECIFIC TIME FRAME IN PRAYER ....In such case, my queries are: 1. What is the time limit by default if any for complaiance of the direction of madras high court 2. Is there any Writ Proceedings Rules of Madras high court, if so pls give reference /link to download 3. Can i file contempt against respondent after two months time from date of direction given if respondent fails to comply 4. Should i send a copy of orders of high court to the respondents requesting to comply within two months time or otherwise contempt may be initiated against you. thanks regards Ramji
