From where can i obtain a copy of "code of conduct for lawyers". Who controls or frames these code of conduct for lawyers?
From wher can i obtain the contact details of Bar Council Office in Mumbai?
What are the norms and procedure to report misconduct of a lawyer? Is the Bar council of related area responsible to take up such matters?

The ADVOCATE ACT u/s 35............deals with the misconduct & You shall have to file a Petition before the STATE BAR COUNCIL.

For the misconduct of advocates related matters you can check the books of "professional ethics" . which give you the detailed picture of your question . It is mentioned in the books that what are the rights & the dutys of an advocate towards the Court, clints, collegues, & others. If any misconduct whether it is professional or any other kind is done by an advocate then you can simply file an complant with details of the case in the office if the state bar council, then they will take the appropriate action towards the advocate. Sec. 35 of the advocates act deals with this type of complaints.
