498a, dp act 3 & 4 please help me

My wife filed false 498a and DP act 3 and 4, after few days both sides are compromised. The case date is on next year Jan 2014 so how to file advance petition please tell me procedure. Some of them are telling after filing petition also it will take 3months to close the case because 3months court will be place the case in observation is it correct??? some of them are telling that if the case is only 498a then it will be place in observation for 3months but my case is 498a and DP act 3 and 4 so it will be closed on the same day please tell me exact l please help me
