125 cr.p.c. interim maintenance petition

Respected Senior Advocate,

I am filing a petition before the JMFC  Court under sec. 125 of Cr.P.C. for maintenance of the father by the two sons.

here, at the time of filing of main M.C petition itself, is there any possibility of filing a Cr.M.P. petition  towards claiming interim maintenance till pending disposal of the main petition ?

though Act says it is possible,  but in practice do we follow it ? and how ? kiindly inform me sir / madam
