Obtain Driving Licence: Tamil Nadu

Eligibility

• Completion of the age of 16 years for motor cycle without gear not exceeding 50 CC.
• Completion of the age of 18 years for motor cycle with gear & light motor vehicle.
• Applicant should appear in person.

Forms

• Form 4
• Form 5 (form 5 only for those trained through a driving school)

Necessary Documents

• Learner's Licence
• Vehicle with records
• Consent letter from vehicle owner, to conduct the driving test in his vehicle, if the vehicle is not owned by the applicant
• Passport sized photo

Fees

Rs.250 for a laminated type licence

For Learner's Driving Licence

Eligibility

  Ration Card/Electoral Roll/LIC Policy/Passport/E.B.or Telephone bill/Pay slip issued by Govt. Office or a local body/House tax Receipt/School Certificate/Birth Certificate/Affidavit given by the Magistrate or Notary Public

• Age Proof
  Birth Certificate/School Certificate/Passport/LIC Policy/Affidavit given by the Magistrate or Notary Public/Certificate given by Civil Surgeon
• Passport Sized Photo
