to prevent some one to change Road for general pubkic

hello respected sir,
I m leaving in village of gujarat our village had "faliya" (part of village called faliya) connected direct to National highway but one person who had a land both side of road 40year old road he wants to join both land and give us a road from one corner side i want to know he can do so actually & how can i prevent him to do so because all are fearing from that person no one wants to take action against him please do the needful to me

you have right to use said road for access to your village which has been done for 40 years . move court if he blocks the access to road

A suit for mandatory injunction restraining the fellow from doing so will be a better move in this regard, take further advise from a local lawyer and proceed.
