Hi,
My name is kumar. I have one query about below issue, request to advise-
Issue - I and my girl friends are willing to do the love marriage, and my parents are agreed to that there is no problem. However, the parents of my girl friend are very rigid due to the reason of inter-caste. Our caste is different.
My girl friend is 24 year old and I am 27.
Concern - please advise that if we do the love marriage without her parents, so does her parents has any legal way as they stop us to do love marriage.

As both of U are majors, go for marriage under Special Marriage Act. Be careful to face the consequences from the other side.

Special Marriage Act is needed only when the religion is different.
The difference of your caste is no matter.
The prima-facie have no legal way to stop. They will have to trust upon goons only.
By the way what is the caste of both of you. It is relevant for further advise.

It is not the caste but are you from different religion (i.e., Hindu, Muslim, Christian etc.)? If yes, may marry under the provisions of SMA otherwise as per personal law.

Yes. You can marry by going through the required ceremony . Different of cast is no bar. Her parents can no stop you from marrying.

Thanks all for the response. I have a fear that her parents will try to forcefully (mentally) marriage with someone.
Can someone advise that how to stop her parents doing so ?
Her parents has locked in house, I mean she can not go out side house.

You can marry and get the marriage registered even if you are from different caste.

U can file a complaint with the police,fearing harm from the girls parents.But the girl must be staying with her parents presently,be sure that she will stand by U during future turbulence.

Did you get married or just planning and making room (legal)for eventuality against marrying-which is prima facie a hypothetical query?

Legally you can marry her either customary or Registered Marriage. You can even free her from confinement with the assistance of police. Practically will the girl stand by you? What is the main reason for the objection of girl's parents apart from the caste? Both of you are employed? What about you? You are earning? What is your family back ground? Many things are to be seen though legally the marriage is possible.

Earlier you have hidden the fact that she is locked i the house. SO you got above advise.
take it.
if you make police complaint and go there with police the the girl will not support you at all (unless there is a miracle).
In such case the police will have you nicely. Her parents will be free to file N number of charges on you (depending upon other facts).
You have no practical remedy. There is no choice.

You can very well get married to her. If she has forcefully confined in the locked house, you may lodge a police complaint and retrieve her and get her married without the consent of her parents too.
