Noise pollution

Troubled by blaring speakers late at night. I have no idea how to lodge a complaint. Even if I do, I'm sure there would be no difference because the one of the guys parent is a police.

You can give complaint for nuisance with police.

Please read the Noise Pollution Rules in India linked below and make a complaint to the proper police officer in your area designated as the authority to control noise pollution. It must be a Dy S P level officer. Or if you cannot find it out, make a complaint to the District Police Chief or the Executive Magistrate (Collector) in your district.

You can measure noise level in your area by downloading a noise measuring mobile app. The rules have fixed the allowable decibel level of sound in each area.

If you have no idea how/ where to file a complaint, how did you notice that you are troubled by noise at night?
Anonymous author with a time-pass question need not be obliged by experts as per rules of this platform.
Consult a local tutor/lawyer if there is "some" truth in your hypothetical story.
