Witness signature is missing

(Querist) 30 October 2016 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam,
In 2007 I have registered a document which contain correction to the previously registered document in 2004. In the correction document 2nd witness signature is missing in the last page where photos and thumb prints captured. Request you to clarify if this invalidates the Registration.
Sincerely
Sri

Prima facie your query is hypothetical and fabricated.

How the signature of witness were not obtained and document got registered by the Sub-Registrar, which is next to possible and unbelievable.

Since the correction deed was registered to get "some" mistake corrected in original document/deed another alleged mistake of missing signature of attesting witness??

How did you notice the mistake stated to have occurred in correction deed registered in the year 2007 and observed at the fag end of year 2016?

Show both the documents to a local lawyer for proper analyses and guidance.

In what capacity you have registered the document?
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 31 October 2016
Thumb impression and photo are there, signature on other pages are there, if mistakenly not taken on last page, document is valid. You can apply for certified copy of the document, there are chances, other copy at registrar office contains signatures.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 31 October 2016
Look into certified copies as suggested by Mr. Goyal.
