What is the opinion of your own lawyer?
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 22 September 2016
No Perjury lies in falsity of FIR.

Mr. Shakil,

If you are not discussing on some academic query, your description is quite incomplete to arrive at any purposeful opinion. However, in addition to my previous question, please clarify on the following points also:

1) Are you stating about FIR by your wife or in-laws or the final report by the police?

2) In your case, who lodged FIR with the police, your wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, or any one else?

3) Here your question, "under pressure that they compromise without any allimony," is quite uncalled for. Can you state, is not your lawyer so capable to find ways and means to pressurise the opposite party to come to some compromise, OR you have asked this question on behalf of your lawyer?

Your question for perjury could be OK, but you should not have expected suggestions on pressure tactics from the experts, without getting your case examined by them, whereas your own description is quite deficient of the basic necessary facts.

Agree with experts.

The court has not passed any adverse strictures against them.

In the given facts, perjury may not succeed.

Thanks

Merely mentioning of wrong date to the police authorities do not invite perjury so there is no scope to initiate thereto on the basis of your subsequent posting.
