Information regarding banking

Sir, I want to take a Loan from Bank but I face a one problem 17 years ago my father took a loan and before a ten years my father's loan was default and that loan account was N.P.A. in 2006. So I want to know can I eligible for taking a loan from bank? And I want to say also that my father was dead in dec. 2015.

The declaration of NPA of your father's loan a/c has nothing to do with your eligibility to get loan.

Credit history of your father may not effect adversely your loan sanction.

If you were not co borrower, guarantor and did not evade liability to repay, then there should be no delinquency on your name.
