Agreed incetive as per appointment letter

Can management cancel the agreed incentive as per appointment letter of the employee and lateron as per signed documents to resigned employee?

No it can not. Challenge the changes if made =unilaterally.

Are you still under employment where you have been offered incentive in the appointment letter?
If yes, it cannot be changed unilaterally, challenge.
If no, the employer is not obliged.

Incentives/performance bonus or whatever name is assigned to it is fruit of labor...........and is paid on achieving the targets/extra performance........


It might get covered by some enactments as well e.g. Payment of wages Act.........

If you have performed then you are eligible..........

If you have been in employment for whole period of targeted performance you are eligible for full payment.................or you may request for Pro rated Payments........
