Hello Sir,

I had a registered GPA property in Delhi (registered at SDM office: asif ali road) in dec 2004. But somebody told me that a person has made fake papers of my same house. is it possible. will it create any problem to me. can the court detect his mistake easily. plz reply. i am totally confused and in trouble. my contact no. is 09312107572

without seeing the papers it is difficult to advise. Do not pay heed to rumours. if you have any doubt then meet a local lawyer with all papers.

What do you mean by saying that you have a registered GPA Property in Delhi?

Do you mean to say that you have a Registered GPA and on that basis you have purchased property?

Do you mean to say that except the GPA, you do not have a Registered Sale Deed (i.e. paying stamp duty)?

Sub registrar office or sdm office ?

It is to be noted that SDM is not empowered to register GPA.

Dear Author In Delhi SDM is the Revenue Officer and The Rank is Sub Divisional Magistrate and they hold the powers related to GPA.

GPA-cum-sale is now valid in Delhi but it shall be appropriate for you to get its registered sale-deed as earliest as possible and get it inserted in the record of MCD
