Hi
We are 2 brothers and want to trf our parental property in our name where property owner is our mother. Our father and mother is now no more with us. Kindly advice how do we can trf the said property and need to know HUDA (haryana urban development authority) process under this situation.

If both of you alone are their only legal heirs then the property is only devolved in your names in equal shares.
You only need to mutate your respective names in the property register.

No, just submit their death certificate and heirship certificate.

Visit your HUDA office with an application for mutation of the property along with death certificate of your father and mother and affidavit to the effect that only two of you are the LRs of your parents.

What type of property is this ? Whether it is HUDA plot in sectors or otherwise. If HUDA plot, get the forms downloaded from HUDA site and submit with required affidavit. You can consult HUDA office to know full procedure.

first obtain the death certificates of your parents and heirship certificate from revenue authorities. Then do as advised by the experts.

The website of HUDA shall have a page on Transfer of Property and all documents required, procedure are described.

Some Development authorities may accept even the certificate issued by area Municipal Councillor.

Go thru the site and submit the forms/docs.
