Permission from landlord

Sir, have a rented shop in Kolkata, I want to clear some point .should I take the permission from land lord?
1)I have a rented shop & I want to color the shop.
2)At the coloring time may be plaster is crack I will fill up with cement putty.
3)Furniture will attach from the wall with screw.
4)Treatment from white ant.
If permission is required/not required then what’ is ACT.

No permission of landlord is required for colouring,minor repairing,fixation of furniture etc.

These constitute minor repairs pertaining to routine maintenance, hence prior permission from landlord is not required until you have an intention to claim the maintenance charges from him.

For painting of tenanted premises, prior permission of landlord is not required.
Only for making constructions of permanent nature, written permission of landlord is required as per provisions of West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act.
