1. Th complainant can be summoned to PS or the Police may even come.
2. May be she is too feeble to put her signature.

Report to the S.P/ACP regarding this , the io will come to your place and take the statement and complete all other formalities pertaining to your mother in your residence in presence of family members .

agree with experts.

As rightly said by the expert Mr.Devajyoti Barman, I.O can ask any person to appear before him for the purpose of making inquiry to complete his Investigation. For that, the I.O has to issue summons as prescribed in Cr.P.C.

If any summons is issued, you can ask exemption from the appearance in Police station on the medical ground as stated in your query, and request the I.O to come over your place.

Better not to make an issue of this point.

If it is not possible for your mother to visit PS, approach higher officers to instruct the IO to visit your house.

Well advised by experts hence no more to add.

In this case your mother is a complainant. You have filed a complaint seeking some relief. Better cooperate with the police if you are really interested in getting the relief or else decide yourself on the basis of advises given above.Certain places you can think practically.
