Wife's salary

Dear All,

For the Sake of the knowledge i would like to know can husband demand/harass for wife's salary for her bankstatement
kindly help me

The husband can ask for her salary politely but cannot harrass the wife for her salary. No law gives you the right to harrass anybody.

no . a man should be independent and not dependent on his wife income . whatever salary wife earns is her income . she can if she so desires on her own accord spend part of her income for meeting household expenses . husband should not make any unreasonable demands . the day husband starts demanding wife salary the relation ship is doomed

Salary, Bank statement or any information not provided by wife, can not be received by harassment. It is illegal.

Family life belongs to husband and wife equally. If wife requires rights, she has also to take care of her liabilities. Husband alone cannot be burdened with entire liabilities. Law of natural justice prevails in such matters, however, trust in family life means voluntarily complying with self duties. harassment is neither legal nor moral.

If wife is not willingly disclosing her salary, don't spoil yourown family life by insisting to know the same or to ask for her bank statement.
