what is family settelment document of property.is this document valid for transfer of property.if yes what is the procedure.

yes it is valid for transfer of property ,. get it drafted by a lawyer

it is called settlement deed and take help of lawyer for its drafting.

it is valid piece of transfer deed and need to be registered if the terms are put into writing.

A Civil suit is required to be filed to make the family settlement as a part of court decree and only according to that decree, the ownership can be changed otherwise family settlement without its registration has no value in the eyes of law and no ownership can get transferred merely on that basis of framing of such document by a lawyer.
