Hit & run case(no injury but damage to car)

In hilly terrain ,a truck gave frequent hon behind my car and due to narrow & very sharp gradient, Side could not be given to Truck Dr. only for few time ( 20/30Seconds). He tried to overtake my car & in this he hit/run & mirror was broken with few crashes to car, BUT no injury to us.
In shock we could not know truck Number (but we will trace). T/Dr did it intentionally.
What actions can be taken against T/Dr (civil/ Criminal)

report the incident to police as soon as possible. you can also be file a claim petition against the owner of vehicle, driver, insurance company.

lodge a Complain in concerned Police Station

If damages is minor, forget it.

If your intention is to claim any compensation, give a police complaint.

My suggestion is just ignore it.

If you want to get compensation only then go to the police station and lodge a complaint against him otherwise it is better to forget and claim repair expenses from your insurer.

I suggest to forget it as i don't think you will be benifited by filing a police complaint or lodging a calim in sucn a minor matter.
Further you don't know the truck number too.
