When an F.I.R. is registered and challan is not presented in the court. Whether the trail court can mark CBI investigation in this preliminary stage?

The Magistrate has no power to direct the CBI for causing necessary investigation.

Only the govt and the courts from high court has such power.

Direction to CBI lies on the Central Government or High Court/Supreme Court.

Trial Court can not interfere with the investigation....Trial court can not transfer the investigation to any other agency....may be CBI or SIT or CID...trial court cannot even change the Investigation Officer....

Either State of Cenrral Govt or HC or Sc can order for CBI enquiry.

CBI will take up the case from a state police only by the order of the state govt or by HC / SC order.
