I have been terminated from job on May 28 2014. I am planing to question this in court. Is there any time limit to file a service related case in high court?

You have not disclosed whether you were serving in private job, semi govt or in govt. sector and the reason/mode of your termination without which none can help you.

I was working as lecturer in a private college since 2006. Reason for termination is access staff.

Consult a local lawyer. Time is 3 years from the date of cause of action.

Whether the college is aided/un-aided one?
Howver, it has to be as soon as possible but not years totgather, i.e., within reasonable time.
Contact, consult and engage a local lawyer.

Aided college, but my post was not approved. Is it legal to terminate an excess staff in a college?

Excess staff (unapproved) can definitely be removed if the post is no more required and moreover the same term and condition might have been mentioned in your appointment-letter hence you have no case in your favour.

I agree with expert advise of Sh. Raj Kumar Makkad ji.
Please show your appointment letter, which should contain all such terms and conditions, to a local lawyer practicing in service matters for further advise.

Well advised by expert Mr. Raj Kumar Makkad, if you still feel aggrieved, contact a local lawyer and proceed against the college legally.
