Rightful owner of the plot

I hold the co-ownership of a plot of land in Rewa,MP along with my mother which was registered on our name in 1988. Its Rin Pustika was though, made on our name in the year 2000. After computerization of the land records MP, I see the records to be in differnt person's name. Is there a way where I can get the 20 years of khasra and Title Record of this plot for last 30-40 years by way of RTI? If yes then which department's information officer could be approached?

You can apply for an encumbrance certificate with the jurisdictional registry office.

instead of rti, apply certified copy of khasara and relevant record through advocate.

certified copy would be received you with 3-4 days, whereas rti takes times about 30-35 days.

Apply for certified copy to local revenue department, you can get within a couple of day.
However, it does not involve any law/ related question to be advised by legal experts on this platform, refrain from posting such query.

Apply for revenue record from revenue department by paying the requisite fee.

I asked for the certified copy of khasra and i was provided with only last 2 years copy which also was showing somebody else's name. There is no construction on the plot and is idle for last 30 years. Hence for clarification purposes I needed records of part 30 years. This might be needed even for rectification of khasra records.
How can i approach for rectification of khasra records and what documents will be needed??

File an application to Tehsildar for rectification in mutation, through your lawyer.

If the revenue records are showing erroneous details, you may apply for rectifying the mutation of records or rectifying the revenue records with the concerned Tahsildar by enclosing the title documents in your name to prove that the property stands on your name. You may have to meticulously follow it up with the said office until, you may not get the desired relief.
