Notrised gpa for property registration

Is it compulsory to get a Power of Attorney attested by a Sub Registrar if it has already been attested by Magistrate or Notary, under which documents are signed by the agent?

Any power of attorney or agreement is considered as safe if registered at the sub registry.

The copy of the registered GPA is compulsory to be attached if the sale is being made through its holder on behalf of seller.

ANSWER:
Attestation IS notary & and registration of Power of Attorney is with Asst. Registrar of Assurance, where u register Agreements sd etc. OK

For property transfer, registered POA is required.
