is it legal to enter into an MOU and/or divorce deed before completion of 1 year of marriage

MOU has no force in the eye of law. The petition of mutual divorce n which basis the decree of divorce is granted is enforceable under the provision of law.

@ Smart,
Prima facie you are really very smart to remain anonymous and seek free advise from experts.
Besides this, you want to put an end of your 9 months married life without fulfiling through the legal requiements and procedure.
Contact, consult and engage a local lawyer.

Yes MR.Smart. Pay the fee to local advocate and get the advice. You cannot be so smart to extract replies from the legal experts. We are smarter than you!

ONLY COURT ORDER OF DIVORCE DECREE IS VALID.
Any MOU etc, against Law is invalid, not binding on either party

MCD can be granted only if you have stayed separate for one year . MOU within 9 months of marriage for MCD has no value
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 29 July 2014
MOU as mentioned have no legality. MCD can be moved after one year.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate Online (Expert) 30 July 2014
MOU or deed of divorce cannot be considered as legally valid divorce in the eyes of law. MCD can be filed after living separately for more than a year. Better consult a local lawyer and take his further advise and proceed.
