Does any of the cooperative society have power's to utilize the land for joint venture development with the builder lobby to form multistored building ,while the society is almost defunct and due to its members and depositer's how do we file a case when there is no director nor members of the society. what's more to be checked for such cases .pls guide

check whether society is filing its audited accounts with Registrar of cooperative society

You have to check the bye-laws of society.
Get information from the society registrar about the managing and audited annual report of society.

If the Society is defunct , the District Registrar will appoint Person in charge for the society and its management/affairs, it is temporary arrangement . Ask the District Registrar to Conduct the elections for Managing Committee in General Body Meeting of Society . After the General Body meeting and election of Managing Committee , the General Body may resolve for Development activities with the approval of the District Registrar, within the scope of Bey laws of the Society- consult the District Registrar Co- Operative /or/District Collector/Co- Operative
