For how long will the mobile service provider store the sms contents?

Hi. I would like to know for how long will the mobile service provider store the SMS contents which are sent and receieved? Is their any way to get the data??

Storage is subject to space of hard drive in their machine where it would be always.Only police can claim from them not you.
If you have deleted even then it would be on hard chip of mobile and can be retrieved.

Police do recover details of ALL cellphone + SMS details ;So it must have very good storage capacity.
