The case was of Sangeeta w/o Sunil Shinde v. The State of Maharasthra&Ors.The decision was given by Justice L Naheswara Rao and Justice B R Gavai. The appeal was dismissed and the High Court’s judgement was held. In the judgement, the Supreme Court observed that the will of the majority would prevail in a democratic setup.

SC: Bank Account Of A Person Accused Of Prevention Of Corruption Act Cannot Be Attached U/S 102 CrPC

It was been held by the Top Court that the bank account of a person accused under the Prevention of Corruption Act cannot be attached under Section 102 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The decision was given by Justice MM Sundresh and Justice Sanjay KishanKaul. The case was RatanBabulal Lath v. The State of Karnataka.

What do you think about this case?

Delay In Conducting Disciplinary Enquiry Does Not Ipso Facto Vitiate It

The case was of State of Madhya Pradesh v. AkhileshJha. The decision was given by Justices Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, VikramNath and HimaKohli. The appeal was allowed. It was held by the Court that every delay in conducting a disciplinary enquiry does not, ipso facto, lead to the enquiry being vitiated.

Madhya Pradesh HC: Prisoners Also Humans, Establish One PHC Per Jail

The case was of LaljiSingh &Anr. v. The State of M.P. The decision was given by the Bench of Justice SheelNagu and Justice Rajeev Kumar Shrivastava. The Court advised the State Government to ensure that at least one primary health center should be established in jail campus having facilities to treat the ailments relating to heart, kidney, liver, etc.
