The Supreme Court granted bail to all the four alleged contemners who were involved in the incident of throwing a slipper at the apex court judge Justice Arijit Pasayat on Friday last. A bench comprising Justices B N Aggarwal, G S Singhvi and R M Lodha also fixed April 14 for hearing of all the petitions filed by the contemners namely Leila David, Annette Kotian, Sarita Parikh and Pavithra Murali. The court directed that the all the four contemners, who were brought to the court bare footed, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond to the satisfaction of Registrar (Judicial) of the Supreme Court. The petitioners are facing allegations of making reckless allegations against 12 Bombay High Court judges demanding death sentence for them and arrest of five Supreme Court judges. Boss Music School in Mumbai was closed down by the authorities on allegations that these members of the school were practicing black magic and occult sciences and used to hypnotise small children, who were later subjected to physical torture and harassment. These members approached the Bombay High Court which dismissed their petitions against the closure of the school being run by them. The apex court has initiated a suo motu contempt of court proceedings against the alleged contemners for making reckless and wild allegations against the judges.
